Muleshoe, TX


It's hot and I decided to stop in Muleshoe, TX. Free hookups so I can have AC. It will cool substantially tonight and tomorrow. I'll just drive to Ft Sumner tomorrow, just 90 miles. I can buy weed there. We're crossing into Mountain Time. 

I was impressed with my mechanic in Post, TX. Small operation but very capable. I asked the son about replacing the Harmonic Balancer. "No Prob". Pull old one out, put new one in. I'm stopping in October to get that and other stuff done. He's mobile. If you need a good mechanic and plan to drive through Post, then he's your guy. Tom's Automotive. RV doesn't scare him! For most stuff, he's willing to do the work at one of the RV Parks in the area. Bam!

Mr Beau Update

  It's clear that Beau isn't getting any better. He's definitely worse. I got him to eat a can of tuna last night and this morning. He has little balance and weak. I hold him on my lap and give him love for as much as I can. I made an appointment with the Vet Hospital on Monday afternoon. I'll be prepared to have him put down then. He's 13 yrs old and has had a big life. I don't know how long I'll cry but I sure will miss him.
