Often, your first thought is nowhere near reality or potential. Your first impression of a person or an opportunity is wildly wrong. When you can accept that, then you begin to create space between stimuli and response. You take a breath and question where your bias or assuredness comes from. You, eventually, fall in love with learning, reasoning, thinking, and creatively living. Few ever get there. But when you do it’s like observing the world like the matrix—free from the instant anxieties and antagonisms of the world. There’s a consciousness beyond your impulse. This is ultra-living.
